header_2_text_color=&#8221;#02C39A&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>About magnetic compasses<\/h2>\n<p>Magnetic Compass is the only instrument on board which does not depend on any electrical source for ship\u2019s heading attitude, this means that in case of other instruments fails (difficult but not impossible) magnetic compass should bring you safely till next port.<\/p>\n<p>Today, a magnetic compass must complement any navigation system, providing a fail-safe power source due to its nature.
